5x Technology Announces Development of Solution to Clean, Standardize, and Enhance NetSuite CRM – using SAP® BusinessObjects Data Services

IntelligentInformation Service Helps Resolve Data Quality Issues for NetSuite Users

San Diego, CA (October 7, 2010) - 5x Technology, a growing IT solutions provider and SAP® BusinessObjects volume reseller partner, today announced the launch of the IntelligentInformation solution – a service providing standardization and cleansing, merging and deduping and data enhancement capabilities. The solution was developed using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services software, customized and adapted specifically for NetSuite users.

“The service was developed from 5x Technology’s own need to analyze and repair the cleanliness and quality of our prospect and customer data,” said Jeffrey Yefsky, CEO, 5x Technology. “We recently increased our marketing efforts, and when attempting to segment our internal CRM database (NetSuite), we realized how dirty and incomplete it was.”

The service utilizes SAP BusinessObjects Data Services software and was customized specifically for the NetSuite platform to perform address cleansing and matching for NetSuite contact and customer records. 5x Technology’s IntelligentInformation solution is a consultative service that extracts customer data out of a NetSuite customer’s system, runs it through the tool, tags records that have redundant and incorrect information based on a client’s specifications, cleanses and merges duplicates, and then uploads the data back into the customer’s NetSuite system.

“Information about customers is a company’s most important asset, and people need to know they can trust that data to make the best decisions possible for both their customers and business,” said Byron Banks, vice president, Enterprise Information Management, SAP. “Our market-leading enterprise information management solutions have been helping companies like 5x Technology ensure that CRM data is clean, accurate and timely, allowing them to more confidently develop sales strategies, identify areas for improved service or assess the success of particular products. By co-innovating with 5x Technology, we can now extend those benefits to NetSuite users.”

5x Technology has also created partnerships with well-known business information providers offering verified, enhanced contact information based on a customer’s needs – standard and unique CRM database fields, including job title, industry, revenue size, website, SIC codes, NAICS codes. More knowledge about prospects and customers equals more successful programs. Premium data enhancement offerings include verified email address, direct phone number, as well as social network profiles such as LinkedIn and Twitter.

CRM administrators, marketing and sales managers depend on providing their internal clients with the most accurate and complete contact information available. Management can also benefit from the reporting and visualization components IntelligentInformation provides.

Questions, such as the following, will all be answered during and after the engagement:

  • How many records did we start with?
  • How complete was the individual data in each record?
  • How many records did this process uncover that were duplicated, merged and standardized?
