San Diego, CA (July 19, 2016) – 5x Technology, LLC a leading IT solutions provider, recently received a prime contract award as a result of the Seaport-e Rolling Admissions with the U.S. Navy at the end of June 2016. Among the 608 contractors awarded a prime contract, 5x Technology is one of the very few companies that represents the IT industry.
5x Technology will specifically be servicing the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia. This awarded contract allows 5x technology to provide a custom offer of business intelligence services which includes various data warehousing and project managment solutions. Involving a variety of products from 5x Technology's current partner products like CMaps Analytics, Crstal Reports, SAP BusinessObjects and IBM Cognos. Also potentially involving the implementation of business intelligence dashboards, dashboard reporting, dashboard design, data organization, and data analyzation tools.
According to the U.S. Department of Defense's Contracts List, the awards have a three-year period of performance and it's estimated that the Government will procure a maximum of $3,960,000,000 of services per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award contracts.
Despite the large dollar amount being spent yearly for these contracts, it is not a common feat to be awarded a prime contract by Seaport-e. "Being awarded is significant for us because it opens more avenues for 5x Technology to serve our Navy customers in a more hassle-free method." shared Jeffrey Yefsky, CEO of 5x Technology and a decorated Lt. Commander in the US Navy.
